Megaman NT Warrior (Anime)
Machine Type: Artificially Intellegent Internet Navigation program, AKA Solo Net Navi
Weapons: Fists, Dark Sabers, energy blasts, Darkness Overloads, Hells Rolling, Absorption powers
Special Abilities: Data Absorption, Mechanical Body, Crossing with Megaman, flight.
Creator: Doctor Wily, Pharohman
First Appearance: Episode 32: Internet City!

When Dr. Wily created the Gospel Beast from the remains of Pharohman, some fragments broke off, one of them becoming Bass. He has an unquenchable lust for power, and desires the "Ultimate Destruction Programs," one of which is inside Megaman, drawing the two together. After being absorbed by the Gospel Beast, he appeared defeated, but was hiding. In an attempt to gain more power, he revived Shademan so that the Darkloids could conquer Earth, but after this fails, he retreats. His quests for power later lead him to challenge the alien Navi Slur, who defeats him unmercifully, before flinging him into the undernet. While there, he meets the remnants of Dr. Regal. Regal tricked Bass into attacking Megaman, but when his mistake is revealed, he aids Megaman. When they are captured, about to be absorbed, Megaman asks Bass to take his Ultimate Program and save the world. Bass greedily agrees, but accidentally forms Basscross Megaman, who defeats Regal and Nebula Grey very swiftly. Once they are diffused, Bass is sucked with Grey and Regal into a Black Hole, where he absorbs Grey. In his final appearance, he fights Slur once again, punching his arm through her back and out her chest, killing her.
Megaman NT Warrior (Manga)
Machine Type: Artificially Intellegent Internet Navigation program, AKA Solo Net Navi
Weapons: Heatblade, Darkness Overload, Earthbreaker, Energy Blasts, Gospel Cannon, Banishing World, Claws
Special Abilities: Get Ability, Flight, Dark Aura, power of Gospel Beast, Dark Power, regeneration, power of Cybeast Flazar
Creator: Doctor Cossack
First Appearance: Megaman NT Warrior v2 (Silhouette), v3 (Official)
Bass in the Manga has the same origins as his game version. A ruthless killing machine, he defeated 100 opponents in 0.02 seconds… with only one hand. His power levels alone can cause computers in the real world to explode violently, which he used to great effect on Dr. Regal's submarine. Unlike his game version, he is bloodthirsty, and loves pitched battle with skilled opponents. He selects Megaman as his chosen rival. One feature about him that makes him particularly deadly is his Get Ability, which enables him to copy an opponent's powers or absorb them entirely. This happens when Bass steals the Hubstyle power, absorbs Megaman to create Basscross Megaman, and absorbs Cybeast Falzar. He seeks someone to fight on an even playing field, to sake his "Rage and hunger." A common theme is that he rejects the notions of bonds making him stronger, until finale, where he sacrifices himself in order to give Megaman the power to save the world. However, four years later, he appears once again to form Basscross Megaman, saving both Megaman's life and the world from the Devil Virus, so he is probably still active today.
Megaman Battle Network (Game)
Machine Type: AI Internet Navigator, AKA Net Navi
Weapons: (Battle Networks 1-3) Air Burst, Explosion, Earth Breaker, Gospel Cannon, Vanishing World (4-6) Hells Rolling, Darkness Overload, Machine Gun, battle chips
Special Abilities: Get Ability, Auras, Darkchips
Creator: Doctor Cossack
First Appearance: Megaman Battle Network 1

Bass.exe was created as the first solo Net Navi, able to use his full power without an operator. He was blamed for causing problems with the original internet, and was ordered deleted by elite Scilab Navis. He survived, and has hated humans ever since. Bass is one of the few non-main-cast characters to appear in every Battle Network game, usually as a secret boss. He is cold, hateful, and murderous. In Battle Network 1, he appeared to steal the life-aura shield from the final boss. In Battle Network 2, the group Gospel's entire point was to clone Bass, and rule the world with an army of him. After the game ends, the real deal shows up to dispatch the clones still active. He shows up again in BN3, where he helps Wily to break the seal on the Alpha system to destroy humanity, but after fighting Megaman, is absorbed by it. He escapes by absorbing the remains of the Gospel Beast, appearing in the Secret Net later. In BN 4-6, his attack style changes, shifting to a dark-power based style. In the DS version of BN5, you could unlock a form of Megaman called Bass Cross, allowing access to his power.
Classic
English Name: Bass
Japanese: Forte
Machine Type: Robot Master (Android)
Weapons: Plasma Cannon (Chargeable pre-"Megaman And Bass/Rockman and Forte," but switches to a non-chargeable machine gun during this game), various copied weapons
Special Abilities: Gospel/Treble Fusion, Weapon Copying
Creator: Doctor Albert W. Wily
First Appearance: Megaman 7

After six unsuccessful attempts to conquer the world, all of them being foiled by Doctor Light's robot Megaman, Dr. Wily decided to create the anti-Megaman; a dark version of the hero, but loyal to him and him alone and fueled by his new energy source "Bassinium." Bass was the result. He first appeared at the beginning of the seventh Wily War during Wily's escape from prison, posing as an ally to Megaman, but after he was damaged and was taken to Light's Lab, he ransacked the place and became an official enemy. Bass is arrogant, and claims that his one true purpose is to defeat Megaman, even going so far as to disobey or openly rebel against his creator to do so. He has not yet succeeded in destroying his rival, but he has worked with Megaman on several occasions. He is capable of fusing with his robot wolf, Treble, amplifying his power and enabling flight. Like Megaman, he is able to copy/absorb his opponent's weapons after their defeat, making him a truly dangerous, adaptive robot. After "The Power Fighters 2," Wily decides that Bass is malfunctioning due to his rebelling against Wily, leading him to create the second Reploid, Zero.
All four, because I misunderstood the :iconforte-fc: contest rules. Whoops!
